Haworthia cooperi var. picturata is a charming, clump-forming succulent native to South Africa’s Eastern Cape. It is especially valued for its luminous lime-green leaves with translucent, windowed tips that allow light to pass through for photosynthesis. These crystal-clear leaf ends are often compared to water droplets or jelly, giving the plant a soft, glowing appearance.
This variety forms tight, stemless rosettes of fleshy yellow-green leaves with gently inward-curving points and subtle soft teeth along the margins. In late spring to early summer, it sends up a slender flower stalk bearing delicate white to pale pink blooms, adding seasonal interest to this already captivating succulent.
