Lithops optica 'Rubra' is a stunning succulent that has bodies consisting of two opposite leaves with milky pink to purplish-red sides and a light to dark ruby-red window on the top surface.  It is a winter-growing plant and will be dormant in the summer. New leaves will usually appear in the autumn. It thrives in areas with bright sunlight with partial shade. 

Care & Growing Tips

• Prefers bright light but avoids intense direct sun, especially in hot afternoons.bring indoors if temperature drops too low. 

• Use a fast-draining, porous soil mix (succulent/cactus mix or gritty, inorganic substrate) to prevent root rot. 

• Follow a “soak-and-dry” watering method: water deeply but rarely; allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. Avoid over-watering — especially during dormancy.
